Oversees all aspects of the Account Services Team from recruitment, staffing and onboarding to client relationship and account maintenance to assure delivery excellence
Develops Account Services team vision and strategy in conjunction with leadership to meet sales quotas, and team development and succession
Responsible for providing critical subject matter expertise in medical communications to internal team of Account Managers, Account Leads and Project Leads to ensure adherence with ICON financial processes, timely and on cost delivery of client work and overall client satisfaction
Oversees day to day resourcing planning for scientific and account services staff supporting client team
of accounts and workload across Account Services Team and accounts
Main client contact for all Account Services team issues, performance, quality, etc.
Collaboratively leads (in partnership with the Scientific team and Client Engagement Leads) any AOR RFPs for future growth opportunities with current clients and lead for RFPs for future clients as needed including strategy for presenting ICON to client slide development and response to questions
Oversees all financial, revenue tracking, pipeline and reporting for all Account Services client teams
Manages pricing / margin of new proposals with the Project Management team
What you need
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in health, communication, or a business-related field from four (4) year college or university required and Master's Degree (MA) or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of account management experience in publications
Proven capability to manage large teams across different functional areas required
Must be highly motivated and results-driven. Demonstrable ability to mobilize and motivate internal resources required to deliver projects required
