Roles & Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and oversight of implementation and deployment planning, system integration, data validation, quality assurance, delivery, operations, and sustainability of technical solutions.
Collaborate with other technical leaders to drive design, architecture and technology decisions in the ecosystems surrounding engineering activities
Provide process improvement recommendations based on best practices and industry standards.
Advocate for security and performance standards in the organization.
Build and maintain high performance infrastructure that will scale
Design and manage continuous deployment process
Implement instrumentation and automation of tests to validate environments
Configure monitoring tools
Ensure stability of all environments
Optimize performance across the full stack
Learn and implement new tools, ideas and best practices
Support diverse environments including private data centers, cloud etc.
Ability to follow latest trends and drive internal company vision how things to be deployed.
Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in systems or software engineering , with 5-7+ years of DevOps Manager or related experience with increasing responsibilities and experience in a team lead or management role.
Full understanding of automotive software development life-cycle best practices while managing high-availability operational systems Experience architecting highly scalable cloud and data center infrastructure Experience with logging & monitoring tools, continuous integration and deployment automation tools (Octopus, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker, Ansible, Chef) and source control revision tools (GIT, SVN, RTC, CVS).
Agile Development (SCRUM, Kanban, or Extreme Programming methodologies). Working knowledge of networking (TCP / IP, VPN, DNS, SMTP, HTTP) and knowledge of IT and Security best practices (ITIL, OWASP) and compliance (ISO).
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and all stakeholders Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in working with international, heterogeneous teamsSpecial Requirements (i.e. overtime, travel, etc.)
Passport and US Visa availability is desired
Bachelor of Science or better in ENGENVCMP-Computer Engineering or related field.
