What do you get to do in this position?
The Expert Paint Line Engineer will be responsible for the correct operation of the powder coating lines,
Implementing a standard in the painting equipment, he / she will be responsible for ensuring the necessary production output with the right quality,
Responsible for coordinating preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance processes.
Works on daily and long term problems / projects using manufacturing, quality, and Schneider Production System (SPS) tools to resolve issues.
ie. PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, SAP, work orders, layout, etc.
Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion (based upon SPS principles) for obtaining results.
Supports new product development projects, determines cost estimates, design concepts and engineering criteria along with conceptual process layouts for given project.
Supports process tooling, fixture, and equipment design, purchase, and maintenance along with development of Capital expenditure proposals.
Develops process, safety, ergonomic, and material handling improvement solutions.
Serves manufacturing operations as KEY SUPPORT person leading resolutions to problems, implementing improvement, and leading projects to completion.
Contribute to the Global Smart Factory Strategy by implementing the latest technology (Augmented Reality, Data Analytics, IoT, Paperless, digital Twin, Blockchain)

Industrial Engineer, Chemical Engineer or related .
3 years experience in a similar position in the automotive sector.
Experience in painting
Knowledge of surface preparation
Experience in powder application
Knowledge of quality control and maintenance.
Powder coating system operation and maintenance skills
Powder coating curing and drying knowledge
Knowledge of paint booths and paint recovery systems
Set up skills of automatic paint spray guns
Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
Management of Excel and AUTOCAD
