Manage a Real Estate property / portfolio and implement the Real Estate strategy to improve profitability and cost effectiveness and meet established goals.

Your responsibilities

  • Manages a portfolio of facilities, resources and / or associated activities and services required by the organization.
  • Develops and implements measures to achieve cost-effective improvements in real estate assets and services to support operations, increase business satisfaction and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations.
  • Acts as business partner to the organization regarding real estate matters. Directs the development of goals, objectives and plans for the real estate assets.
  • Oversees operations and compliance with company policies and procedures and with local codes and regulations.

  • Develops and manages strong long-term relations with external partners. Negotiates costs, contract terms, design / service features and schedules with suppliers, contractors and business partners.
  • Monitors and reviews on-going performance and addresses issues as necessary.

  • Participates in developing the strategic plans and plays a key role in developing the real estate master plan. Obtains and analyses information from various sources to assist senior management in reaching conclusions.
  • Serves as technical consultant on application of total asset management (TAM) and advisor and spokesperson for the organization on matters relating to real estate operations.
  • Performs investigations into new real estate methods, materials and techniques and performs cost-benefit analyses. Ensures the most effective utilization of facilities, equipment and staff.
  • Manages space planning and efficient allocation and administration of space utilization in occupied buildings. Prepares layout of workspaces for maximum effectiveness.
  • Consolidates dispersed locations with co-location concepts, eliminating vacancies with flexible subleases.

  • Zero harm (in conjunction with the Country Health and Safety Manager) ensures that all activities led by Real Estate are undertaken with all necessary safety control measures to mitigate and eliminate hazards / risks.
  • Your background

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Mechanical Administrator or related engineering.
  • 3 years of experience as Facility Manager or related working with space management, budget management, infrastructure maintenance, Real Estate (performance & management), strategic plans and contractor management.
  • Solid technical knowledge in AutoCAD, maintenance administration, planning and budget administration.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Negotiation and relationship skills.
