This is a direct sales position for Bell's commercial product lines. This position will require interaction with private entities, commercial customers, para-
public, local and federal government agencies.
Position will also require close coordination and interaction with other stakeholders within Bell and Textron.
Manages Bell’s commercial sales and marketing efforts within assigned region. Responsible for customer relationships with federal / state government and commercial markets.
Represent, negotiate and sell for Bell at all levels within private and civil government agencies. Develop and implement strategic sales plans for all near term and long-
term opportunities in territory. Identifies and develops opportunities to grow regional market share, develop relationships for longer term sales prospects and respond to tenders aligned with the global sales strategy for product sales and manufacturing partnership opportunities.
Partners with development and engineering teams to incorporate Voice of the Customer feedback into new products and modifications.
Continually review and analyze marketing information including prepared reports and professional periodicals and news sources indigenous to territory.
Partner with the Marketing & Sales organization to prepare formal and informal proposals requiring coordination with pricing, applications engineering, and marketing data.
Maintain market intelligence information identify shifting sales trends, political or financial changes and implement strategies to protect Bell business base.
Fiduciary responsibility for travel expenses, budget management, and corporate credit card use. Partner with the Bell Helicopter Customer Service and Support organization to maximize sales opportunities within assigned region.
Maintain accurate customer information within CRM tool. Qualifications
