Eaton’s hydraulic division is currently seeking a QualityEngineer Sr to join our team. This position is based at ourQueretaro facility.
The Quality Engineer Sr is responsible for supportand promote the development of a quality culture through educating theorganization in continuous improvement activities while assuring Eaton’scommitment to quality in all aspects of the organization.

Some activities related with the position willbe :
Develop andmaintain process control plans assuring all customers specific requirements aremet and included.
Leads statistical control tools and itsapplication and use throughout all operations. Review data collection methodsand applicability of data to operator control.
Participate in and lead structured team problemsolving and apply statistical and other problem-solving tools.
Drive root cause analysis and implementation ofpreventive and corrective actions for process related concerns.
Assist with the implementation of qualitysystem and Eaton Business System (EBE, Quality System).
Leads warranty analysis process and attendwarranty product review at customer locations when required. Ensure allwarranty analysis information (painter charts, corrective actions, customerresponses in customer systems, charts for trends, debit charges from customer)is documented and available to the organization.
Responsible for continuous improvementactivities (5’s, kaizen lean workshops, etc.) to enhance quality system intheir respective area of responsibility.
Assist in the development of PFMEA’s and be afacilitator of information that provides a better use of the tool.
Interface with engineering and operations toensure manufacturing process compliance to quality system and an effective andefficient process performance (safety, quality, cost and productivity).
Actively participate in manufacturing and process improvement teams as thevoice of the customer.
Responsible for CONC control (scrap, rework,warranty, premium freight related to quality issues), monitoring andimplementation of countermeasures when required.
Lead and assure full compliance on PPAP requirements.Communicate and provide status to customer on PPAP assuring all processes meetcustomer specific requirements.
Support quality inspectors / auditors to ensurethat products and process comply with the relevant requirements of the qualitymanagement system.
Direct and conduct process potential studiesand sample layout of new or revised processes
Interact with and assist customers on qualityrelated issues. Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond tocustomer complaints.
Assist in the preparation of customer requiredreporting documents.
Interface with suppliers, participate insupplier development efforts where needed for new programs.
Participate as a member of APQP teams to bringproduct to market.
Assist in the development and presentation ofcost of quality measurements.
Assist in identifying and supporting qualityrelated training programs
Comply with requirements of Quality andEnvironmental Managements Systems.
Daily revision of customer web sites.
Monthly revision of Customer scores.
Specialcharacteristics evaluation and documentation
Eaton has announced it has reached an agreementto sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A / S. This transaction is expected tobe completed by the end of 2020 and this position is expected to remain withthe Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A / S.
upon close. The compensation and benefits that willinitially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs andpractices.

Strongquality and statistics background required.
Minimum 5 years’experience applying quality tools in a manufacturing environment. Automotivepreferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
ASQ QEcertification preferred
Strong communication skills (Englishconversational and written skills required)
Solid knowledge of engineering techniques andmanufacturing processes
Thorough knowledge of statistics andstatistical process control.
Computer literacy, including spreadsheets,statistical programs, database maintenance and CAD
Thorough knowledge of geometric dimensioningand tolerance (GD and T) principles
Proficiency in problem solving and qualitytechniques preferred, such as : Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt, Shainin Red XTools.
Extensive knowledge and experience on AIAG CoreTools :
Solid knowledge on IATF, ISO 14001
