The Electrical Engineers we are looking for will provide field engineering, inspections and subject matter expertise to U.
S. Government Project Directors on diplomatic construction projects in Guadalajara, Mexico. Our projects may include upgrades, renovations, additions or new construction including utility systems.
You will provide technical expertise to the U.S. Government on-site Project Director and construction management staff. The expertise needed may include supervision, design, survey or inspection of construction activities associated with structures, facilities or utility systems.
You will be responsible for technical documentation and review of work in progress by other federal contractor(s). You will oversee compliance with Client standards for project design, delivery, QA / QC process and regular project reporting.
You will evaluate the desired goals of the electrical system and review designs and selections of equipment and power controls to achieve those goals.
You will perform engineering calculations and prepare reports in support of the project's work. You will assist the Project Director in the overall coordination of construction activities to maximize productivity and maintain schedule.
You will assist in the review of contingency and recovery plans offered by contractors and monitor performance against those plans providing quality assurance reporting.
You will conduct spot surveillance of electrical disciplines to ensure that high quality of workmanship is maintained. You will interact closely with the Clients field staff to resolve field issues.
You may even work directly with third party's QA check testing teams and report findings to the Clients Representative. You will communicate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and offices.

You need to have a Bachelor's degree from a ABET accredited university in the field of Electrical Engineering located in the United States.
If you are a certified Professional Engineer (PE), even better. You must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering with specific on-
site construction experience across all phases of project delivery. Vertical construction experience is a huge plus. You need knowledge of electrical engineering concept principles and practice a familiarity with other engineering disciples and architecture.
You must have the ability to analyze, interpret and apply general engineering rules and procedures in a variety of situations and recommend effective solutions to other engineers.
You must have knowledge of engineering and construction standards, methods, practices and techniques, materials and equipment to determine compliance with Client codes and regulations.
You must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Auto CAD as well as strong client management skills.
You must be experienced in preparing written site inspection reports and have the ability to make verbal presentations to other professionals.
You must have strong organizational, communication and managerial skills, be self-motivated yet work effectively in teams and with senior management.
You must have an active Secret clearance and must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. If you already have an Active Top Secret clearance, we'll be able to put you to work right away.
