Amazon is looking for a talented, smart, experienced and enthusiastic Content Manager to help develop and grow our Mexico expansion efforts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to contribute to the overall marketing and site merchandising strategy that will innovate and institute a best-
in-class customer experience for Mexico. This position will own the "look and feel" of the site and our retail store.
Design Merchandising calendar. This includes homepage updates, deal placements, email programs, cross-category placements, participation in Amazon site-
wide events, browse tree design and search results.
Aid in managing navigation structure. Ensure that customers can easily find the items they want for their homes.
Create and analyze monthly promotion pages and emails in support of promotions
Create pages and merchandising features to support coop initiatives : brand stores, emails, premium detail pages
Coordinate and support promotional events and marketing campaigns.
Works closely with the traffic teams to drive customers and sales to our store.
Design, lead and implement customer experience enhancement / improvement projects.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful project ownership and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in marketing and / or site merchandising.
BA / BS or certificate of completion of studies required
Fluent in Spanish and English
Experience with HTML, XML, Photoshop and general office software
Familiar with CSS and java script
Editorial or copywriting experience preferred
History creating win-win situations for vendors and customers
Understanding of online and brick & mortar retailing
Ability to conceptualize and execute projects
Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up feature and customer segment recommendations
