The Sales Bonus Program Controller is the business partner for sales and marketing / BI areas and supports with financial information regarding customer bounus programs.
The Analyst is responsible for generating reliable and timely financial / accounting information for decision making and ensuring the correct reporting of sales accrual accounting, analyzing variations in the accrual accounts and providing explanations and guidance support to the respective operational and management partners.
Despites the financial reporting responsibilities the analyst assurance the compliance of all financials process with the corporate policies and participates and develops improvement projects that allow the generation of simple and robust processes.
The main controlling responsibilities of this particular Controlling Analystare the customer bonus programs (set-up in SAP, tracking and evaluation of target achievements as well as the issuance of sales target-related bonus credit notes).
Secondly, the controlling analyst will support the Business Segment Controllers in profitability analysis customers and help to review business plans that correspond to the sales bonus programs.
Thirdly, the Sales Bonus Program Controller / Analyst will support the quarterly KPMG audits.
Within the responsible area the Sales Bonus Program Controller / Analyst will be :
Performing monthly and annual financial-accounting closings that are in accordance with the corporate financial reporting rules and deadlines, including collaborative work with management to analyze and interpret the results
Prepare and review financial information as well as implement monthly variation reports for responsible areas (Actual vs. Budget / Forecast)
Prepare and analyze Forecast / Budget for the Sales accruals on the customer level.
Consolidate the company-wide sales bonus / accrual budget and tracking
Set-up and analysis and validate rebates for all responsible business area
Create management reports and / or charts / graphs for the management team
Be in charge of the local SAP Rebate Monitor
Identify areas of opportunity to prepare / lead improvement projects in cross-functional teams to evaluate / implement process improvements, cost and sales opportunities.
Be part of maintaining and improving financial reporting systems (e.g., Cosimo, TMS, SAP ERP / TEMPO) that ensure accurate presentation of financial results
Prepare information for internal and external audits
Create and review and approval of credit / debit notes related to commercial programs
Approval and validation of electronic Disbursement Requests (eDR’s)
Ensure high standards in information quality
Special project tasks assigned by the Finance Manager or Market Controlling Team Lead Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related.
Advanced level of english ( interviews will be in english )
SAP Knowledge is INDISPENSABLE ( Fi, Co will be a strong plus )
At least 2 years of experience in Accounting AND / OR controlling or related. ( focused to financial area )
