You will participate inthe creation of new digital products (software, apps, web) to be launched tothe market under the Honeywell brand.
You will work in an interdisciplinaryenvironment, with our Marketing team, Project Managers andEngineers / Developers, establishing a strong partnership to enable successfuldesigns that solve complex problems.
The goal is to launch outstanding human-centeredproducts. You will be accountable for using UX research methodologies tocollect and synthesize first-hand user’s insights and translate them intoproduct proposals, from recommendations to wireframing and first low fidelityworking prototypes.
You will have to :
Act as a user advocate on a continual basis.
Actively engage your product owner(s) to clarify KEY business / customer goals
Design, implement and verify user interfaces for massively scalable programs and applications desktop and mobile.
Design user experiences exploring different approaches to solving specific user problems. Responsibility is to build towards an ideal product experience that meets the expectations of our business and customers.
Partner with cross-functional teams.
Participate in iterative design process from discovery to launch.
Able to cycle back to perform heuristic and usability testing independently.
Design user experiences exploring different approaches to solving specific user problems. Collaborate with UX researchers and UI designers to create information architecture, flow diagrams, sketches, wireframes, concepts, mockups and prototypes.
Document Functional User Requirements to communicate design, process, rationale and decisions that direct and support UX / UI and functional design
In later phases of Product Development Process, to able to cycle back to perform heuristic and usability testing independently.
Quickly prototype concepts from VOC feedbacks.
Systematically and logically cluster functional and design requirements
4+ years of industry experience in user research and user experience design for software (portfolio must be provided)
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, User Research, Product Design or related field
Know-how of interaction design, visual design, information architecture and usability testing methods
Knowledge of UX methods and user-centered best practices for digital product design
Proficiency using prototyping tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Invision)
Experience designing UX, including but not limited to personas, user journeys, functional designs
Experience designing UI, including wireframes, prototyping, and visual design concepts
Involvement in design and technology trend monitoring, benchmarking, digital strategy for Software as a Service, and Design Thinking
Be a curious, flexible, highly self-motivated person, with good interpersonal skills and a can-do / positive attitude to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, both verbal and written
As a plus, experience working in Agile product development teams is ideal
