Eaton’s Hydraulic division is currently seeking a Sr, QualityEngineer to join our team. This position is based at our QueretaroFacility

The Sr, Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoringand controlling the quality process at the assigned area and developing anddriving actions plans for improvements.

Leading quality investigations inrespond to customers concerns. Support Continuous improvement activities toensure consistent product flow within established industry standards,government regulations and customer requirements.

Some activities related with the position will be :

Liaisonbetween plant quality department and customer quality department.

Developsand leads action plans to prevent and resolve customer and quality issues.

LeadCustomer response through PPAP 8Ds, control Plans, Return MaterialAuthorization (RMA)

PerformsQuality Process and Quality System Audits on cell in charge and upload theappropriate reports to the Quality system site as required.

Leadscapability studies to process validation (tools / fixtures). Statistical studiessuch as GR&R, CPK, SPC and provides input to process validation.

LeadsProblem solving activities using tools such as 8Ds, DOE (Design Of Experiments), 5Why’s, etc.

Leadsactions towards resolution on Warranty Failures related with the manufacturingprocess.

Supportsto new Product Introduction with Advanced Planning Quality Process and otherrelated activities..

Overseesall activities are met under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.

Supportsand / or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as : Kaizen, IdeasPrograms, cost out improvements in goalsyear over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or businessgoals and / objectives to achieve or business

Responsibleof non-conforming product, identification, disposition and action plans toavoid reoccurrence.

Monitorsand creates / Lead to meet action plan to quality indicators.

PromoteQuality culture and trains operators, quality technicians, etc. as needed.

Providesleadership and support to Quality Technicians and Quality Auditor

Ensures5S culture, implementing and evaluating in all processes.

Elaboratesand communicate all organization levels process performances on charts : Defects, scrap, Quarantine , action plans, etc.

Participatesinto the definition, validation and closure of corrective actions from customerquality concerns, deviations and engineering changes.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications :

Bachelor Degree inEngineering

3years of experience in Process Quality and Customer Contact.

Experiencein manufacturing processes.

Bilingual : English / Spanish

Knowledgeableon problem solving methodologies and Quality Core Tools

Knowledgeof Statistical Minitab software.

ISO9001 Quality Standards, implemented or audited, participation on processdocumented

Experiencewith the practical application of Quality tools, Six Sigma, and LeanManufacturing methodologies

Experience usingproven tools, techniques, and methodologies to inspect products, measure processperformance, perform product verification and validation testing
