Assist in the development and oversight of security policy and strategy with regional responsibility for executing (ensuring Security resources are effectively managed to meet business / customer requirements).
Regional Manager is responsible for providing Security management expertise and leadership in the region. Demonstrate oversight in security management covering both operational and strategic management to achieve business excellence.
This role encompasses establishing strategic, regional direction and will require establishment of indirect leadership amongst Jabil’s plant-level security management, personnel & systems.
This leadership authority will be supported by senior Jabil management.
Regional Manager is responsible for creating, managing and implementing security management programs and systems to ensure due diligence of regulatory and internal compliance.
Regional Security Manager is responsible for regional security matters, company risk mitigation, and continuous improvements that yield positive quantitative results.
Regional Security Manager is escalation point for all regional security concerns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Development, implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, work instructions, visual aids, inspections programs, reporting, etc.
Confers with management, risk assessment staff, auditors, facilities and security departments, and other personnel to identify and plan for security measures.
Evaluate and recommend guidance for security related threats in the region.
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the Security system (CCTV / Access Control / Facial Recognition etc) and their associated database.
Analyzes, selects, recommends, and coordinates installation of all security-related systems, and other security measures
Responsible for the Security Managers’ work schedules, ensuring coverage as directed.
Works with law enforcement and legal representatives in investigations of possible security violations.
Adhere to and enforce all rules and regulations associated with this position.
Act as Emergency Coordinator for all sites in your area of responsibility.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include : Security Director.
Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring / termination and / or pay decisions, performance management).
Job title example(s) of employees directly supervised : Regional and indirectly provides guidance and consultation to operations managers and other regional roles associated with security.

Good communication skills (at all levels)
Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree required.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
Minimum of six (6) years’ experience, and a proven track record in security management
Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
