This position will be reporting to the Sr Manager of Reporting and Analytics. Person will be responsible for providing timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the division’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-
making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan. Person should also have experience with Microsoft product suite, with an advanced level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Should have excellent communication skills and experience working with remote teams globally.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to :
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested
Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials
Expert in data analysis, data audit, generating meaningful business insights, preparing executive ready reports on daily, weekly, monthly basis;
Route cause analysis for any variance in Metrics required
Help to develop tools, processes and metrics to analyze and measure performance. Perform audits of Procurement productivity
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Gather information from many different sources through different tools and techniques manipulation, analyze and interpret complex data sets relating to the Stakeholder business.
Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation
Evaluate business data to identify their different characteristics and locate their similarities to find ways they can be integrated for better results.
Talk to stakeholders to understand data content and its purposes.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Work closely with different teams to prioritize business and information needs
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques & Workflow creation
Demonstrates high energy and models behaviors to motivate others.
Preferred Education and Experience
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
Proven working experience as a data / reporting analyst
Majored in one of the areas : Finance, Business information systems, computer science, economics
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
3+ years’ experience with Data Analyst
2+ years’ experience with Financial analyst
3+ years’ experience in Supply Management / Sourcing / Procurement
Experience with Team Room / SharePoint development
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Business Objects, SAP, databases SQL, VBA, XML, MS Access ,Tableau
