This dynamic role serves as the creative lead for all Nike Brand Creative work happening in Mexico City. From briefing, ideating, developing, and executing premium and purposeful storytelling to deliver NIKE's business and brand ambitions, this role will ensure alignment and quality across the entire creative process.
In addition to delivering world-class marketing executions, the role requires strategic and business aptitude to partner with geography leadership and cross-functional and category counterparts.
About the role The Narrative Director works closely with Agencies, Senior Producers, Writers, and Art Directors to deliver holistic messaging across all channels.
They drive narrative excellence and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all work is executed against the seasonal strategy.
They work across different mediums including strategy, ideation, film, audio, and headlines to ensure the story is crafted and delivered masterfully.
They coach and create opportunities for individual development, performance management, recognition, and rewards, fostering and leading innovative thinking, collaboration, and teamwork.
Responsibilities Creative Excellence. Steward creative development of premium and impactful storytelling. Drive strategic ideation and content / asset creation for key marketing stories.
Push the boundaries of digital first experiences and content. Creative Partnership. Deliver holistic creative campaigns and assets across Narrative, Design, Media, Communications and Influencer Marketing.
Brand Vision. Partner with Nike marketing leadership to craft the long-term strategic vision. Financial Oversight. Oversee and communicate the financial accountability and accuracy of the Brand Creative function.
Creative Alignment. Drive cross functional inclusion and alignment throughout the creative ideation and execution process.
Including creative functions as well as global functional and category teams, legal team, and business affairs. Agency Partners.
Develop, nurture, and progress key external agency relationships. Campaign Production and Delivery. Flawlessly produce traditional, digital and never been done campaign assets.
Coordination and deployment of creative campaign assets across markets, functions, and external creative and media agencies.
Operations. Work closely with Marketing Planning and Operations to track, drive and communicate the current status of key Nike Mexico creative projects.
Develop / Coach. The Brand Creative Narrative Director, Mexico should develop and coach across the full Mexico City Brand Creative function, as well as inspire the broader Mexico City marketing organization.
