Director of Supply Chain
The Supply Chain / Materials Program Manager position at ChargePoint, Inc. is an opportunity for a seasoned supply chain professional that is used to working in a fast paced environment that rapidly introduces new products into manufacturing.
The position reports to the Director of Supply Chain and is focused on sustaining activities supporting ChargePoint’s revenue stream.
Work as part of a two-person team managing the execution of one of our key strategic manufacturing partners, including driving resolution of all business issues and execution of POs for turnkey assemblies on released products
Lead the transition of new products into these manufacturing partners, including the transition from consigned to turnkey if needed
Negotiate all claims resulting from execution activities
Communicate twelve month rolling forecast and firm orders
Collaborate with planning to ensure changes in demand are implemented in a timely manner
Follow through to ensure on time delivery to support revenue / shipment plan, while also optimizing product inventory levels, including the review of the supplier’s clear-to-build status
Provide feedback to planning on delivery schedules and delivery performance, actual to plan
Manage quarterly business review process
Assist in the bring up of additional manufacturing lines and / or facilities
Support E&O reporting and analysis activities as needed
Required Technical Skills :
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and detail oriented
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain focus to meet deadlines
Applicable system knowledge : NetSuite or comparable ERP systemsCoupa or other cloud based procurement system.Arena / AgileMicrosoft Office Suite including : Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook.
Required experience :
Eight or more years of experience as a supply chain or materials program manager in a high-tech manufacturing environment
Four or more years of experience with a manufacturing startup
Significant experience working with strategic manufacturing partners, such as EMS providers
Global organization experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Guadalajara, Mexico at a Partner's site
