In this position, the candidate will :

  • Develop an internal tool used to automate digital verification flows.
  • Debug design and test bench environments at the block and SoC level.
  • Enable new verification flows.
  • Perform global customer support for external and internal EDA software.
  • Create, modify, and implement EDA software to comply with internal standards and requirements.
  • Evaluate, develop, deploy and support new and existing tools and methods for R&D designers to use in the development and testing of their design.
  • Required Skills :

  • Proficiency in Tcl, Perl, Python, and Linux shell scripting (tcsh or bash).
  • Experience with digital verification flows (VCS, Incisive / Xcelium, or Questa); experience with other EDA tools a plus.
  • Experience with data management tools (e.g., DesignSync, ClearCase, Git, etc.) and grid compute environments (UGE / LSF) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent subject area (a Master’s degree is a plus).
  • The candidate must be comfortable working in an international environment and must possess excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
