The NGSC Mexico is located in the biggest city in the country. The site is located 15 minutes away from Coyoacan, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Mexico, dating back to the XVI century, which has evolved into a cultural spot that gathers Mexican traditional and gourmet cuisine, arts and crafts, and history.

Primary role focus is to support the US Procurement Category Managers of the assigned categories (primarily Market Research, Marketing agencies, congress and events, patient programs) according to the globally defined Procurement process.

i.e., Procurement project management activities, RFP preparation, tender conduct, vendor reports, procurement analysis and manage the E-

sourcing System (E-RFx). Assure the delivery of services according to defined KPIs and Service Levels.


  • Category Support Handle Sourcing requests in accordance to pipeline and US Procurement CatMan Needs.
  • High level of Project management skills to support category management among the sourcing process in order to execute on time and manner the procurement projects.
  • Identify sources of supply in accordance with category managers or find new vendors (when required)
  • Prepare and provide summary of RFx outcome and recommendation to award, for projects assigned to them or support category / local teams in this process.
  • Run e-auctions and make the bid comparisons and proposals.
  • Support users with documentation required to submit purchase requests.
  • Support of Category Benchmarks.
  • Create / Review / Validate Analytics such as spend report, savings, contracts, PO, Invoices.
  • Prepare and send regular reports and analysis to Category Managers.
  • Execute monthly dashboards.
  • Monitor RFx processes (where required) for projects assigned to them or support category / local teams in this process.
  • E- sourcing experience.
  • Supplier price list comparison.
  • Contract management support, to ensure valid contracts are storage in the contract management system, specific contract renewal negotiations (when required), CDA execution.
  • Specific purchase negotiations when required.
  • Support vendor creation and risk assessment

    Minimum requirements

  • University degree or similar education
  • English, Fluent Oral and written communication skills
  • 2-5 years experience of working in a global environment in similar position
  • PMP-PMI certification desired
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical industry and specifically in Marketing categories such as Market Research, Congress and Events, Marketing Agencies, Patient Program are desired
  • Excellent demonstrated project management and communication skills
  • Experience in supporting Bids and auctions.
  • Experience managing Stakeholders and dealing with Vendors.
  • High level of organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP, SRM, CLM, Emptoris and other enterprise applications
  • Analytical, Results oriented, proactive and organized
  • Customer Service Focus.
