Main Responsabilities :
As a Tech Lead the candidate will be Technical Leader of agile delivery team dedicated to the development and delivery of solutions for John Deere dealers.
Specifically working within the product repair and diagnostic tool set including Service ADVISOR(TM).
Be an active member of an Agile software development team, working closely with other team members to ensure that the software, data, and necessary equipment function together to meet or exceed the product specifications.
Be responsible for evaluating and developing high quality software solutions to improve performance, quality, and cost for John Deere dealers.
Deliver high quality products utilizing Agile and XP principles.
Work within established guidelines such as coding standards, workflow, or tool standards.
Root cause, debug, and fix complex application issues.
Coach and mentor team members.
Onboard new team members.
Participate in planning and estimating work.
Drive team technical standards and processes.
Travel Availability Up To 25%
What Skills You Need :
We need an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.
5+ years of experience with Agile development process.
5+ years of experience with applications developmentenvironment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities andconstraints.
Experience working with Test Driven Development, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Test Automation.
Experience with CI / CD build processes and configuration.
Practical understanding of service oriented architecture.
Personal commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem solving ability.
Effective communication skills.
What Makes You Stand Out :
Experience driving technical direction and strategy
Large-scale web applications experience.
Performance testing / tuning experience.
Experience working with REST web services, Spring, Maven, Hibernate, MySQL, IntelliJ or RAD / Eclipse IDE.
Experience working with Amazon Web Services platform technologies.
Experience working with offshore business teams.
Experience leading technical delivery practices for a team.
Ideally, you will have a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field.
