Bosch seeks a focused and committed quality engineer for its supplier quality team. This team manages all claims related to purchased components, and works strategically with the plant and with the rest of the purchasing organization to improve the quality of the components and products delivered to customers.
Management of supplier claims, including organization of immediate containment actions.
Lead and take part in several quality meetings internally / externally as main contact for purchasing quality.
Follow up of defect cost.
Use problem solving skills to resolve claims
Support on PPAP process and with Quality improvement programs for suppliers.
COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Graduated in mechatronics / mechanical / electrical engineering.
At least one year of experience in the automotive industry.
Knowledge in problem solving methods (8D), core tools (PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA), GD&T.
Knowledge in manufacturing processes.
Intermediate knowledge in Quality standards (ISO / TS 16949, VDA6, IAFT).
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (spanish and english).
Intermediate computer skills with MS Office.
Strong working knowledge of claims resolution techniques.
Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams, departments and organizations.
