Job SummaryPOSITION PROFILE : (Basic Purpose of Position) To enhance and uphold the customer service reputation of VWR by providing and ensuring timely, quality and professional customer service to all VWR customers MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance) To provide customer support according to the company standards.

To provide product and pricing information to sales and investigate and respond to queries according to the Customer Service Standards.

To process customer orders ensuring accuracy according to requirements of the company. Implementing new protocols and procedures when necessary.

Coordination and control of the phone system including statistics. Ensure that customer contact with VWR is professional, proactive and positive.

Inform sales of any new customer opportunities that you encounter. Coordinate with outside sales and facilitate communications among the sales team.

Adhere to any policy of quality requirements of customers. Ensure that any outstanding work is monitored and resolved as quickly as possible Inform sales of any new customer opportunities that you encounter.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education / Training, Experience and Certifications) High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of customer service / relationships and record keeping Customer Service Training KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently) Organization;

    ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions) Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of Temperature and noise level.

    Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New Alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.

    A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis. Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
