PRODUCT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR - ELECTRIFICATION & ELECTRICAL ARCHITECTURE
As a member of the E-Systems Strategy and Product Management team, the Product Management Director Electrification & Electrical Architecture will be responsible for leading the development of sound product strategies and road maps in order to achieve differentiated market positions leading to profitable growth for assigned product lines.
Your work will include, but not be limited to :
Lead appropriate functional organizations to develop product strategies to achieve a differentiated market position (Define where and where not to play)
Develop associated road maps, business cases, and plans to implement strategies ensuring strategic fit across disciplines
Work to develop optimized investment, marketing, and go-to-market approaches associated with developed product strategies
Become subject matter expert on assigned products, markets, customers, and competitors
Develop sophisticated and concise communications regarding strategy development and conclusions
Develop clear and compelling product stories and value propositions
Champion assigned product strategies to drive implementation
8+ years of relevant experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs and propose product features and business models to address
Experience in synthesizing complex information for product strategy creation
Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to put technical and strategic questions in a business framework and vice versa
Deep understanding of automotive technology landscape and trends
Technical Aptitude ability to understand and be inquisitive about technology
People Skills Ability to connect with people and create insights from those interactions
Ability to create decision frameworks and make strategically sound and justified recommendations
Ability to tackle big and challenging questions
Level-headed demeanor not easily frustrated
Leadership ability to rally a team and lead towards new ways of thinking and operating
Analytical / learning oriented ability to create insights from research and data
