TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies.
They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports. What your kkkkkshould look like :
POSITION PURPOSE :
Initiates and facilitates lean improvement activities.
Responsible for leadership of programs that educate teams about lean concepts that lead to the identification, development, and implementation of improvements at all operations.
Typical improvement activity results in improved safety, productivity, quality, cost reductions and material flow.
Re-design processes to create flow, reduce waste and increase productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Directs and facilitates the ongoing LEAN improvement process using continuous improvement tools such as Kaizen, 5’S, TPM, Material Flow, Standard Work, Cell Design in alignment with Company Continuous Improvement Program.
Identify ongoing LEAN improvement resource needs and assist with developing and implementing the required training.
Establish a culture of waste elimination.
Support the value stream mapping / transformation projects.
Create, design and assess MRP projects and processes.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES :
Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.
Problem analysis and problem resolution.
Value Stream approach to continuous improvement.
Data analysis
QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE :
LEAN Concepts with demonstrated experience
DMAIC methodology
Six sigma green belt certified is a plus.
SAP user (Medium level)
AutoCAD / ZWCad user medium-advanced
Microsoft Word office.
3+ years manufacturing continuous improvement experience preferred
