Service Delivery :
Ensures successful transitions and knowledge transfer, monitoring critical deliverables
Sets clear strategic vision for the area of responsibility, ensuring it is aligned with the Order to Cash (O2C) strategy and is understood and adopted by staff.
Provides leadership that is proactive, inclusive, respectful and results driven.
Builds and strengthens the capabilities of the team by identifying, developing and overseeing talent within the function.
Works closely with different divisional functions to ensure that appropriate levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.
Interacts proactively within the organization and regionally to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
Drives operational excellence and ensures full alignment with all business, compliance and audit requirements.
Develops, measures and delivers services to agreed service levels and SLA / KPI targets for the function.
Evaluates and monitors the performance of third party collection providers (if applicable)
Ensures all accounting policies and procedures are adhered to, including the company controls and global processes.
Ensures all team members maintain appropriate standards of technical competence.
Supervises staff who are responsible for delivery from assigned portfolios and provides continuous coaching to ensure that are functioning at optimal levels.
Ensures all team members have clearly defined performance objectives that are aligned with performance / quality standards defined in SLAs, and O2C / FSC strategy.
Cultivates a culture that is customer service focused.
Leads that processes are migrated to the blueprint as per agreed timelines
Operational oversight to provide services at expected levels with a clear customer focus, including handling the exceptions.
Provides functional guidance to the team members. Interacts proactively within the organization to ensure accurate accounting, and financial reporting.
Resolve all escalated issues and disputes.
Collaborates with key stakeholders, including accounting authorities / auditors
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for related policies and processes
University level degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance or Chartered Accountant / MBA desirable
Lean / Six Sigma Certified preferred
Local language plus English
8-10 years of Financial experience, with in-depth functional expertize
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization
Previous experience in managing Financial Services
Experience of managing projects driving performance (e.g. ERP implementation)
