This position is for GLOBAL ACCOUNTS and it can be developed at any location in CALA : México, Central América, Colombia, Perú, Brazil, Chile or Argentina.
We are considering currently only internal candidates. Responsibilities + Responsibility for, and ownership of, the Hyperscale and MTDC strategies and numbers in CALA.
Responsibility to grow YoY revenue, and meet all board and business level expectations, for the Hyperscale and MTDC customers in CALA.
Work efficiently and effectively within broader Anixter matrix to deliver sales results for the Hyperscale and MTDC teams, collaborating with other Anixter leaders in the Data Center space globally.
Know, build, and nurture Hyperscale and MTDC channels in region; to lift Anixter brand and drive Hyperscale business across CALA + Collaborate with local Anixter Global and Regional sales enablement teams to develop opportunities;
nurturing & leveraging direct end user experiences. + Drive and align Inside sales teams to effectively push the Global program in the Hyperscale and MTDC segments.
Build direct relationships with vendors / suppliers in CALA. + Reporting into the CALA and Global senior leadership team - directly to the VP Sales of Global Accounts for CALA, dotted line to VP Sales Hyperscale Global, and dotted line to Director of MTDC Sales Global.
Qualifications / education required + Degree qualifications in relevant field, or equivalent trade / technical qualifications - MBA an advantage but not requirement + English and Spanish language skill, or ability to rapidly achieve a level of fluency in both, a must Necessary skills, knowledge and experience + Minimal 5 years' experience in key sales and or leadership role within the Hyperscale and / or Multi-Tenant Data Center industry.
Knowledge of macro data center industry and trends in Latin America a strong advantage. + Have solid business relationships with Hyperscale customer base and MTDC space, and ability to grow new business.
Entrepreneurial thinker within a given corporate framework to meet desired end result. + Financial literacy - ability to read financial reports, draw conclusions from data and take action to meet desired outcomes.
Technical Sales expertise - be able to directly support global and regional sales enablement teams develop and drive Hyperscale and MTDC opportunities + Confident speaker and ability to present to senior customer level.
Be able to quickly learn and effectively articulate the Anixter value proposition to end users, channel partners and internal stakeholders.
Experience working within a large matrix organization an advantage. + Skilled at leading actual and virtual teams within a broad matrix organization.
