The Product Manager (PM) is a key member of our Product Management Team and works closely with Technology Operations and the Technology / Development Team to define, design, and build world-class software for FORTUNE 1000 marketers and their agency partners.
Ideal candidates have experience with the full product management lifecycle in data-related products and have strong technology experience to drive collaboration with MSIGHTS' full engineering team (software, middleware, and database).
The PM will initiate new product ideas based on marketplace opportunities and from having a strong understanding of what our clients want and need from marketing operations software.
As a key lead to our Product Leadership Team, the PM will lead global internal discussions, alignment, and prioritization with Client Engagement, Senior Management, Business Development, and Technology Operations.
Define, manage, and align internal teams on overall platform vision, strategy, and product roadmap across all present and future platform applications (Media Planner, Creative Details, etc.).
Gather and create detailed requirements documentation for product development.
Maintain and build a strong knowledge of our category, competitors, and future opportunities to best steer the product roadmap ahead of the market.
Strong understanding of client marketers and agency partners and how they distinctly need / want to leverage the MSIGHTS Platform for their marketing operations, decision making, and campaign management.
It's critical to be able to see the Platform from the eyes of our user groups.
Help develop new ways to analyze platform usage, design, and organization, and then present findings and recommendations for product improvements.
Provide thought leadership and hands-on direction to UX design, product development, and engineering team members.
Work with the development and technology operations teams to define the development schedule, based on team size / capabilities and product priorities.
Organize and lead the Product Leadership Team meetings to drive product roadmap and priorities.
Ensure a holistic product development roadmap and user experience.
Bachelor'™s Degree that includes technology-related coursework.
Strong business writing, documentation, and communication skills. This position requires excellent English in both writing and in verbal communications.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Product Management preferably with SaaS, business intelligence, and / or data-related products.
Well versed in user experience and the ability to simplify requirements that are complex.
Highly technical background, with the ability to communicate with engineers on technical topics. Past experience managing product development a plus.
Great problem solver and one who enjoys and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working in an Agile development process. Past project management experience is a plus.
