Locaria is a full-service search linguistics and website localisation agency, that sits within The Stagwell Group. We provide top-notch linguistic and marketing services, on-site and off-site content writing and linguistic optimisation strategies for all online channels.

We do this in more than 90 languages, across more than 50 markets. Our global clients consist of the world’s top brands across luxury, retail, travel, hospitality, finance and tech.

Over the past 6 years, we have been working with a number of global clients who have required fully localised and optimised websites and search campaigns.

Many of our clients planned to expand globally and multilingually so were looking for a strategy to efficiently create localised content at top quality.

We provide this expert service with a consultative approach.

We are now looking to expand our Mexico City office and are seeking motivated and energetic Localisation Project Managers / Content Analysts at various levels to manage project delivery and client servicing.

THE ROLES

We have a range of exciting openings. Depending on level, these roles require solid project management skills to successfully run website localisation and market research projects, ability and willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing business, experience in people management and coaching, as well as experience and energy to fulfil client needs.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are driven, enthusiastic and dedicated to support Locaria’s expansion.

The roles will be based in our Mexico City office and will report to our London HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the life cycle of translation projects from brief to delivery including dealing with client quotes, contractors and file manipulation.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of project managers and train and develop them. (Dependent on role).
  • Maintain client relationship and communication, ensuring client satisfaction and providing recommendations and best practices.
  • Follow QA processes and deliver client files within the agreed timelines.
  • Develop project plans and cost estimates, allocate and manage budgets.
  • Create and maintain glossaries, termbases, style guides and translation memories.
  • Contribute to shaping market and client strategy.
  • Analyse performance data, derive insights and take required action.
  • Requirements

  • Translation or linguistic degree or qualification.
  • Fluent English written and verbal communication skills. Any other language is a plus.
  • Experience in localisation project management and QA.
  • Experience in team management. (Dependent on role).
  • Must have strong knowledge of CAT tools (ideally Trados and Memsource).
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business. Open mind towards technology and automation.
  • Experience working in a translation agency or language department.
  • Ability to analyse and explain the cultural differences between native country and second language country.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach to work bringing ideas and questions to the team.
  • Energetic and driven. Passionate about languages.
  • Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience with market research translation processes (surveys / customer research).
  • Experience with paid search (PPC) or (SEO).
