The process Engineer will be responsible to develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials;
conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Lean Manufacturing implementation
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment;
conferring with equipment vendors.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards;
confirming manufacturing processes.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules;
estimating future requirements.
Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Responsible to comply with policies and procedures related to the environmental and quality management system procedures and policies.
Professional background and / or job experience related to the position
Bilingual (English 90% minimum)
Hand on experience with pneumatic systems and PLCs
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Production Process Machines
Six Sigma knowledge (SPC)
Wide knowledge in Electromechanic and Electronics
Experience Developing Maintenance procedures, spare parts lists.
Computer literate (CAD, Excel, Power Point, Word)
Proficient in use of AutoCAD, or SolidWorks
