Mondelez International is looking for : Packaging Engineer I Beverages Description Engineer I, Packaging position exists to research , develop, test and implement the packaging materials and related projects required by different initiatives from Business needs, such as Growth, Productivity, Quality Improvement and Brand Maintenance for the Beverages category.
This role covers but is not limted to running lab, plant and transport trials, and tests related to the projects, according to the requirements established by Categories translating this work into robust material, process and product specifications that guarantee consumer driven requirements.
This position will be based in the Victoria Teh Center and will operate, mainly, with the Puebla plant, reporting remotely to an Associate Director based in Brazil and will count on a local Senior Engineer II that will help with technical training and guidance.
Main Responsibilities This role executes the following responsibilities with some level of guidance / coaching : 1.Generates and updates specifications for primary and secondary packaging components, as well as pallet and stacking patterns.
2.Provides data used to establish the technical specifications, shelf life and technical preparedness for production.3.Generates, develops and executes packaging projects under growth, productivity, quality improvement and brand maintenance categories that are aligned with the business agenda and the overall Packaging Strategies.
3.Provides support, from a technical point of view, to other functional areas to ensure the successful implementation of the packaging initiatives.
3. Develops strong relationship within the function and cross-functionally, participating in an active way in project meetings and multi-
functional teams.4. Provides technical support to production lines
