What will be the main challenge of the position

We are looking for a Production Planner located in our Reynosa Plant responsible for generate the production plan of the productive area, ensuring and making processes efficient by analyzing the availability of components.

Follow-up to the priorities of the day.

Main activities

  • Develop production plan on a daily basis on time
  • List priorities to produce according to emergency order
  • Set maximum allowable positive numbers per area each month
  • Follow up on established procedures related to your area according to the IATF16949 Quality System
  • Comply with the EHS and ISO 14001 regulations
  • Report any unsafe condition or action
  • Determine priorities to follow for the containment area.
  • Determine priorities and sequence of numbers to produce in the area.
  • Resource allocation according to the urgencies.
  • Coordinate together with receipts, download materials and receipt on time.
  • Identify shorts of material to avoid lost times.
  • Adjust production plan according to component availability.
  • Development of a list of transfers of components from floor 3 to floor 2.
  • Generate a list of positives, negatives and follow-up of adherence to the MPS plan.
  • Follow-up to urgent numbers so that they are shipped in a timely manner
  • What we are looking for

  • Excellent organizational skills and a sense of urgency.
  • SAP previous experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-confidence with ability to drive professional opinion in a constructive way
  • Previous experience in a similar position (manufacturing environment) in the automotive industry
  • What is the experience you need to have for the job

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2 to 3 years in the automotive industry
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
  • Knowledge in MRP systems (SAP Preferably)
  • MRP client requirements coordination
