Supports the Support Function Controlling activities for SupportFunctions at Siemens Energy.This includes discussions of financial analysis, including costrecovery, budgeting, cost analysis and financial and expense performancecomparisons .
Drives accuratefinancial reporting, charging, ad-hoc reporting, etc. Demonstrates and appliescomprehensive knowledge of the various modalities, while developing strategiesfor dealing with complex models and pursuing cost efficient opportunities.
Ideal candidate has experience in SupportFunctions and / or Performance / Project controlling.
Responsibilities Understands and implements the Financial ReportingGuidelines to ensure the highest level of accuracy and compliance for Siemens EnergySupport Functions.
Responsible for monthly close of P&L, forecasting,budgeting, and reporting of responsible functions.
Partners with Function Owners (local, global) to ensurefinancial targets are met.
Identifiespotential financial issues, trouble-shoot and implement solutions.
Ensurescompliance to internal and external policies and procedures i.e.RIC, ICCrequirements, Four-Eye Principle as well as monitor and implement all relatedPurchase to Pay (P2P) activities of the Support Functions.
Meets regularly with senior departmental & financial management and otherrelevant parties to ensure fiscal budget compliance and to identify potentialsavings.
Ensures transparent tracking of financial targets (KPI’s) and costallocation methodologies
Financial liaison for analyzing, reporting and presenting financialforecasts / results to management as required.
Required Skills Demonstrates knowledge of organizational business practices andissues Competence in Finance, Accounting and Operational BusinessPerformance metrics Strong presentation skills and expert technical computer skills in MS Office (Excel& PowerPoint), SAP
Takes initiative, challenges the status-quo and is proactive Bachelor's Degree in finance / accounting required.Advanced degree preferred.
5 - 8+ years of successful experience in a directly relatedfinance or business performance field required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to dealeffectively with vendors, employees and management Team player with the ability to work independently.
