Primary Location : Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León
Function : Supply Management / Logistics
Major PurposeEstablishes the material flow and movement strategy for the raw material, WIP and complete goods. Ensures that there is optimized material movement that results in increased productivity and efficiency, reduction of inventory levels as well as higher inventory accuracy.Major Duties
determines corrective action for appropriate material replenishment and flow throughout the factory.
Establishes and creates triggers based on raw material or complete goods replenishment cycles and lead times.
Reviews and analyzes freight cost to optimize services and cost and manages all freight loss, product damage, overcharge, trailer and container detention and service related claims in order to minimize costs.
Skills, Abilities, KnowledgeAnalytical skills.Knowledge of unit processes and operations.Understanding of Deere Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Just-in- Time, Kanban, Demand Flow Technology.
Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process.Knowledge of material flow and visual management.Understands process planning and material replenishment requirements.
