Sr. Quality Engineer

Descripción y Requisitos

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering in electronics
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Significant experience in similar position
  • Program Management experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement Tools, Problem Solving Tools & Techniques Six Sigma, SPC, 5Why’s, FMEA & Control Plans, etc.
  • Self motivated, able to work independently with minimum supervision

    • Position Responsibilities :

  • Create appropriate MOS for measurement and tracking of Customer Quality metrics
  • Work with customer service and to ensure quick issue of warranty replacement resulting into high customer satisfaction.

    • Initiate, investigate, bring to closure and document customer complaints by providing satisfactory results of problem root cause elimination

  • Perform Failure tracking, root cause analysis to identify trends and ensure implementation of effective corrective action
  • Analyze data to identify top quality / reliability issues in SKUs.
  • Issue out reports highlighting poorly-performing SKUs monthly
  • Demonstrate good management of customer return units initiating the appropriate containment and corrective actions on time and generate reports to present to customer representatives upon request
  • Create a process for handling repairs of BTS products through engagement.
  • Make the returns / repair process the best in class by lowering cost to serve yet maximizing efficiency by adopting methods like creating repair centers, safety stock management, etc.
  • Work effectively with 3rd party repair agencies on root cause evaluation and ensure SLA metrics are met.
  • Able to Lead Quality Management System implementation (ISO9001) and internal and external audits coordination as well as provide follow up on corrective actions implementation / closure driven from audit findings to eliminate gaps against the ISO standard
