What You’ll Do
Accountable for engineering strategy including engineering team selection, team forming, development processes, coding standards and best practices, technology / Language selection, test strategy, and release strategy
Involvement in defining and implementing a continuous delivery pipeline
Heavy involved in kicking off new projects, team selection process and succeed experiences
What You Have
Extensive experience managing and influencing the technical direction and strategy within modern digital technologies
Experience working with Dev Ops on infrastructure and environment strategy
Strong influencing skills and an ability to take people on a journey to sell an idea or point of view
Understanding of design systems and how they relate to backend engineering
At least 6 years' experience of working with digital product development and heavy on frond end
Experience in leading projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production testing and defining and implementing best delivery practice
Understanding of tools for version control (e.g. Git) and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Interest in technology and software engineering
Expert in resource management tools and process (compensation, performance management, resource development, staffing, hiring, mentoring coaching)
Knowledge of resource management KPIs, like attrition voluntary, utilization, wage inflation, etc
Experience creating organizational strategies aligned with the unit mission
