We are seeking a Sushi Chef to join our opening team for Viceroy Los Cabos! General Responsibilities : The ideal candidate must be a trained Sushi Chef with a passion for food who strives to take his / her creations with sushi to the next level.
He / she will be responsible for breaking down the fish, prepping for the sushi bar, making sushi rice, inventory, keeping work space clean and organized, and more.
He / she will need to assist in creating and testing new recipes and menu concept / design He / she must know how to order and keep quality control focusing on labor costs with Executive Chef Have an eye for detail and be a team player.
Ensure food is prepared properly, quickly and presented to customer in a perfect manner Maintains a strong working relationship with all departments to ensure effective communications for operational issues.
Required Experience : Must have previous experience working as a Sushi Chef Ability to communicate in Spanish and English preferred Previous experience working in a luxury resort setting ideal
