Job Description

Responsibility for the SMT area and products in CeaP, having direct responsibility for manufacturing operation and engineering as well as the coordination of all support functions to achieve CeaP VS targets.

Understands Robert Bosch US' global environment, applies this to formulate organization's vision, mission, strategies, and goals, addresses most complex issues, recognized as an authority outside RBUS, translates strategic goals into specific programs, understands and integrates multiple disciplines to achieve overall strategic objectives.

Leads most complex problems and facilitates resolution.

Participates at the highest levels of RBUS in making strategic decisions regarding the organization's direction, champion’s major corporate initiates and process improvement concepts.

Encourages risk taking, innovation and learning. Establishes an environment that demonstrates legal, ethical and socially responsive behavior.

  • Based on current production sites (JuP1, RBHH, RBAC, CljP) plan ramp-up of new site.
  • Define concepts for SMT area in CeaP (I4.0 applications, production logistics, and layout).
  • Assure on-time staffing of SMT Team for CeaP, engineers, technicians and operators.
  • Assure on-time delivery and installation of equipment.
  • Develop the SMT area with focus on CPP benchmark.
  • Assure delivery and quality to all customers.
  • Qualifications

  • Greater than 5 years’ experience.
  • SMT Processes, equipment and management knowledge.
  • Automotive electronics knowledge.
  • Communication with internal & external customers.
  • Adaption to customer changes.
  • Support team building / team dynamic.
  • Focus on improving indicators
  • Establish and Support cross-functional knowledge transfer.
