Equifax is searching for an International Product and Delivery Manager for our Collections and Recoveries (C&R) products, and technology platforms, to serve the LATAM market.
This position will be based in Mexico.
Our C&R products comprise of two solutions; one platform solution for clients who want to self-serve their C&R activity and, one managed service solution for those who want to outsource their C&R management activity.
The International Product & Delivery Manager will report into the Global Product Team and have the following responsibilities :
The Product Manager will collect requirements from the LATAM markets and define the C&R platform and managed service solution for this market.
For LATAM, they will work closely with the global and international development teams on product delivery, with the global and international sales and marketing teams to launch and support new products, and with our customer base in answering questions and providing product details.
Local market (LATAM) responsibilities for all C&R products
Works closely with Global Product Managers to gather C&R product requirements from each LATAM region to feed into the global annual investment case / PLP.
Works with industry consultants, sales and customers to identify and establish appropriate product markets for short and long-
term investment. Gather VOC and VOS.
Participates in analysis of current and future markets, technology and competitive trends to support strategy and product development.
Participates in the development of strategy and product plans based on results. Provides input to business plans and product line plans based on life cycle and market analysis, historical financial performance and competitive analysis.
Works with Accounting / Finance, providing input to analysis regarding return on investment and profitability analysis.
Provides business planning guidance and counsel to senior management to support overall company objectives and communicates with other internal groups.
Provides input and direction in the development of market positioning for products and product lines, pricing, packaging, and product placement.
Achieves revenue and market share targets defined in fiscal year plans for products in area of responsibility.
Supports sales force by providing current information on product developments and competitive market positioning.
Stays current on regulatory changes that affect Collections and Recoveries and determines our go forward strategies to address these changes.
Responsible for conducting product demos for internal teams and for clients when needed
Lead the execution of business cases for securing additional funding to enhance the product
Global responsibilities for all C&R products
Participates in developing product and product line strategies, directions and recommendations as input to overall C&R product management planning process;
including product line plans, annual business case support and ongoing quarterly prioritization.
Works within the Global Product Management team for the development of the global C&R platform offering growth strategy aligned to current and future market and client need.
Works within a global product management team to complete product life cycle analysis and determine life cycle position and value to company.
Provides thought leadership in the design and integration for Solution definition
Works with Global Commercial Team to develop a C&R platform pricing strategy
Responsible for the development of central global C&R product collateral and the roll out to LATAM regions
Spanish and English language required
5+ year Industry experience working in financial services
3-5 years experience working with collections and recoveries products and services; in product development, technology solution implementation or as a business analyst for a related type of product.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines.
Ability to adjust well to changing situations (e.g., different management styles, new methods, systems and procedures) and priorities within the business and the marketplace.
Ability to turn analytical insight into valuable products and services
Ability to interpret complex data to see both opportunities and issues
Ability to identify priorities, define tasks and drive rapid progress in an uncharted environment
Experience working directly with customers, technology vendors and business partners.
Proven ability to conduct technology product demos to clients
Experience presenting business cases to C-level executives
Experience working in an agile environment
Experience conducting competitive and market assessments of B2B technology products
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Understanding of the basic concepts of product management, marketing and go-to-market, product development and product delivery.
Experience of defining and managing collections and recoveries products at a global scale.
Understanding of micro services, REST APIs is a plus
Experience with managing products and services on a public cloud
