Key Roles and Responsibilities Include -

  • Acquire strong working knowledge of all products, services and capabilities. Interact and coordinate with product segments
  • Develop business plans to facilitate gross written premium (GWP) growth of new and existing accounts that coincide with Product tower goals.
  • Establish, maintain and grow relationships with designated brokers and staff at senior management levels.
  • Provide leadership by driving multi-line opportunities with key brokers. Coordinate underwriting and other services as needed.
  • Drive sales process through to transaction closure.

  • Cultivate and manage distribution relationships with a particular focus on developing and building those producer relationships that best result in the growth of GWP and profitability.
  • Maintain alignment with business units to ensure successful development of overall business in defined region / segment.
  • Drive broker mapping and maintain broker profiles and contacts
  • Support Broker Engagement Leader in planning, coordinating and implementing sales and cross marketing strategies for the territory
  • Plan and coordinate broker, customer and prospect related events
  • Candidates should have at least 6-9 years of underwriting or brokerage experience

    Candidate must have a strong property and casualty background with a good working knowledge of terms and conditions. Understanding of specialty lines such as management liability, property, casualty, cyber, environmental, consumer lines and international is a strong plus.

    Ability to interact with and influence internal and external management. Communications skills.

    Occasional travel is required

    Bachelor's degree is required
