Reporting to the Global P2P Transformation Program Leader, an opportunity exists for an interim Country Project Leader, who will play a key role in planning and executing the country wide delivery of an e-

procurement project, implemented on time and within budget. Critically you will ensure the implementation is successful and the business benefits are realised, helping Purchasing to achieve process compliance and reduce costs.

This is part of a wider global e-procurement program which will be implemented in USA and Canada to enable Purchasing transactional process efficiency, compliance and reduce costs.

The eProcurement solution will also enable improved management in the following areas; control of spend and visibility, compliance to standard processes and policy, and increased user satisfaction and operational efficiency through lean, standardised, user-

friendly and automated processes and systems. In addition, the Project Leader will be required to support Country Purchasing activities and improvements.

It is envisaged that this project will be for a period of 12 months.

Key responsibilities :

  • Lead the country implementation of the eProcurement tool
  • Manage all procurement activities as related to the launch
  • Ability to analyse information and present findings to the project stakeholders
  • Ability to drive the project whilst being hands on in terms of performing the day to day activities
  • Lead change management across diverse stakeholder communities, legal entities, etc
  • Complete implementation activities detailed below. And to carry out any other duties when and if requested as appropriate to the role
  • Skills :

  • Prior E-Procurement System Implementation experience a distinct advantage but not essential
  • Strong project leader skills with the ability to lead and direct a team
  • Evidential successful project management experience, ideally gained within a global company in Purchasing and / or a Finance environment
  • Ability to manage and resolve difficult and challenging situations.
  • Professional, self-motivated with an ability to achieve results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise a varied and high volume workload
