We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our marketing team focusing on the video market. The Senior Product Manager will be able to uncover unmet needs, quantify market potential and collaborate with new product development teams to translate those needs into high value product offerings.
They will also have a key role in driving the product ranges through integrators and distribution. Although an engineering degree is not required, the Senior Product Manager must be comfortable managing a technically complex software and hardware product line.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Champion the NPI process and work with cross-functional teams to execute product development plans, determine go-to market strategy, and deliver impactful product launches
Work closely with distribution partners to understand their and their customer’s needs, successfully position and drive pull through on product ranges and effectively manage the HON video category from product introduction to product phase out.
Collaborate closely with the wider global video team and strategic partners / suppliers to develop solutions that meet our customers’ needs
Be the subject matter expert through product training, customer support, and participation in trade shows, distributor and end user conferences
Develop and drive product roadmaps and the category strategy based on market opportunities, voice of customer and business priorities
Work closely with sales and supply chain management to create accurate forecasts
Actively manage product portfolio through SKU rationalization, price analysis, and life cycle management
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or an engineering discipline
7 years of product management experience in either a Business to Business (B2B) or Business to Consumer (B2C) environment
Video or building management systems software experience
Strong experience in electronics or engineered building systems
Experience of marketing products through 2-step distribution / category management and if possible directtointegratormarketing
Some experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform strategy and business decisions
Proven track record of success in a product marketing environment
Independent, entrepreneurial mindset with a sense of project and product ownership
Assertive team player; ability to work in a matrix environment and positively influence without direct authority
Demonstrated effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills
