Provide oversight and direction on product transfers, new product development programs, Lean Six Sigma process improvements, and the standardization of manufacturing processes across DCS plants.
Coordinate the development and enforcement of global manufacturing standards and technology leadership.
Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for plant-toplant product transfers and new product development programs.
Support DCS manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
Identify and justify Advance Manufacturing key processes and equipment.
Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.
Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.
Oversee the development and execution of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects for DCS manufacturing facilities.
Research and lead new manufacturing technologies and practices.
Coordinate cross-plant problem-solving teams to improve operating performance and meet business objectives.
Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.
Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products.
Technical Advisor for DCS manufacturing facilities.
Specify manufacturing process capabilities and develop process FMEAs to improve product manufacturability and quality.
BSME / IE / Business Operations Management and MSME / IE / MBA preferred. If BS, 5+ years manufacturing experience or MS and minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma formal training or certifications.
PC and MRP proficiency required (MS Office, PDM system, CADD, MRP, Minitab)
Mechanical aptitude and thorough knowledge of products and processes
Design tools, methods, and seek new technologies
Working knowledge of financial and business applications
Skill in vendor analysis and negotiations
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
