Warehouse Manager - Safety & Security-1803042 Position Title : Warehouse Manager - Safety & Security Division

Reports to : Plant Controller

Location : Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

Job Summary :

The Warehouse Manager will manage the inventory control team and be responsible for BRK inventory management and controls for 3 Juarez plants and the El Paso distribution center.

The position will develop strategies for the optimization of inventory processes and establish and maintain key inventory controls.

Job Duties :

  • Manage warehouse, receiving and shipping supervisors and drive continuous improvement in inventory management
  • Implement Newell corporate inventory controls so that the business can rely on cycle counts and eliminate the annual physical inventory.
  • Develop ways to optimize inventory control procedures to increase inventory accuracy in warehouse locations and on the production floor
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material to identify shortages.
  • Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover production demand.
  • Collaborate with plant and DC management teams to ensure business goals are met.
  • Report to upper management on stock levels and accuracy.
  • Review SAP transactions to ensure postings are correct
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and Quality inspection personnel.
  • Be the lead and oversee the annual physical inventory.
  • Need to travel to Juarez and El Paso to perform Inventory controls in both locations.
  • Coordinate and manage daily physical cycle counts.
  • Assign and delegate job tasks to inventory employees to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
  • Actively participates in the 5S Program, which is a critical objective of the business, ensuring compliance with the program's regulations and carrying out the activities required as Auditor, Coordinator, Leader or member of the Committee.
  • Develop the work in a safe, efficient and ethical manner.
  • Develops other activities assigned by management to support the operations of the company.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system and the availability of the resources necessary to achieve it.
  • Conduct in accordance with the guidelines of the quality policy and ensure that it is communicated and understood at all levels.
  • Define quality objectives, communicate them to all applicable levels and actively participate in achieving them.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years’ experience related field.
  • Solid experience in Inventory Control / Warehouse management
  • Computer Software skills (MS Office, Windows, SAP)
  • Positive teamwork attitude and communication
  • Bilingual English / Spanish
