Qualifications

1 Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job :

Represents the company in the country and is responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing on the selling strategies for the country with full P&L responsibility.

The scope of the role includes overseeing, in a matrix environment, all local sales, marketing, customer service, quality, support functions for the Units except Industry.

2 Main Accountabilities :

Develops a business strategy and ensures the team delivers customer satisfaction, above market growth rates in terms of product market share, manages average selling price (ASP) and provides incremental revenue to assist the organization in meeting its stated revenue and growth objectives.

Ensures compliance with applicable legislation and group policies proactively addressing compliance / internal controls in all aspects of the business operation.

Ensures good functioning of the quality management system and lead Operational Performance : Profitability, Supply Chain, Customer Service.

Ensures appropriate resources and processes to meets the business objectives and to support distributors in the country.

Represents the company with Governmental Authorities, Business Associations and International Organizations in the country.

3 Typical Studies-Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

3.1 Studies-Experience :

  • Minimum : 8 to 10 years of experience for level 5 & 6, 10 to 12 years of experience for level for level 4, 12 to 15 years of experience for level 3.
  • A minimum of years of sales / marketing / commercial operations management experience, with at least two years of General Management / P & L leadership experience within a diagnostics or life sciences company.
  • Level of the position also depends on the size of the country.
  • 3.2 Skills and Qualifications :

  • Direct and indirect teams (manager of managers) except for level 6.
  • Good knowledge of the IVD market and its regulatory requirements; Ability to develop and guide an organization during periods of rapid growth.
  • Strategic thinker with understanding of the competitor marketplace. A track record of success in expanding markets, increasing sales and enhancing profitability.
  • Successful experience in building a relationship with Health Authorities and Industry association bodies.
  • Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks, analyze problems, develop solution alternatives, and implement tactics needed to secure positive outcomes.
  • 4 Scope and Resources Accountability, Typical Performance Indicators :

  • Scope and Resources Accountability : Country revenues, Sales Budget, Operating budget, profitability, OTIF ; manager of managers for levels 3,4,5
  • Financial Indicators (revenue, budget, etc.) : Country revenues, Budget accuracy and respect, Contribution Margin
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) : Country Profitability & growth, Market shares, Market Penetration rate, Talent, organization effectiveness, Day Sales Outstanding; Customer satisfaction
  • Key Contacts (internal / external) and Interfaces : Country and Regional Functions, Key Customers, Distributors, Governmental and Regulatory Agencies
