This role encompasses the quality management in a project with focus on SW-related issues of a project, over the whole product lifecycle.
Important target of this role is to achieve the software quality goals agreed with Customers and Internally within Continental, with the help of methods, models and tools of the software quality assurance and the appliance of applicable processes.
QMSW works self-governed as partner of the Software Project Manager (SW-PM) concerning software quality issues. His tasks are predominantly by preventive nature and touch software engineering, management, supporting and further SW-
related process areas of the Product lifecycle.
Bachelor degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics).
Master Degree would be considered Desirable.
Extensive knowledge of in SW development / testing implementing Automotive SPICE / CMMI requirements.
Extensive knowledge in ISO / TS 16949, IATF, QS 9000, Customer standards, Six Sigma would be considered desirable.
Advanced English (Fluent, written and spoken).
German would be considered desirable.
Computer skills (MS-Office, MS-Project, Minitab or equivalent, Visio).
Willingness to travel (Domestic and International)
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for Electronics Manufacturing, functional testing and related technologies is highly desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of experience on the Automotive Industry in an Engineering role.
A minimum of 2 years (out of those 5) on a similar or related position in Q (e.g. Quality management in SW-R&D projects, Development process)
Experience in leading people (e.g. Engineers) is highly desirable.
Experience with component / product introduction in automotive environment.
Experience with New Product Launch and Release of new processes.
Experience in Automotive SPICE assessments as Lead assessor / Co-Assessor is highly desirable.
Must exhibit the ability to lead and mentor colleagues in BU / Plant Environment for Quality Related topics.
