What do you get to do in this position?
Review Open Order Report with suppliers and prioritize based on plant requirements
Effective communication to internal customers regarding potential supply flow issues
Responsible for purchase ordering flow to ensure the deliveries meet production requirements
Proactively monitor and resolve potential material misses and track, expedite and micro-manage critical orders, resolve quality issues
Responsible for resolving invoice discrepancies in conjunction with payables
Responsible for maintaining Purchasing databases to ensure integrity of system data
Participate in regular operations meeting SIM (Short Interval Management)
Maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers and contribute to the competitiveness of business by optimizing purchases
Use Purchasing Tools to analyze, evaluate supplier performance KPI’s & work with suppliers for improvements as necessary
Support the deployment of corporate commodity strategies and contribute to Productivity saving and Rebalancing initiatives
Participate in supplier selection and qualification; negotiate and manage contracts with local / specific suppliers as necessary
Follow up on obtain credit notes related to quality issues
Analyze price or quantity discrepancies and take actions on root cause.
Assist Material Productivity Lead (MPL).
Active in plant Schneider Production System (SPS) processes and maintain compliance with SPS requirements as assigned.

You fit the following Requirements :
Minimum two years of experience in Direct Purchasing
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or supply chain management
Advanced skills with MS Office with particular focus on Excel and Access
Experience using SAP or ERP s
Intermediate English level
