The Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing customer service activities, including account management, audit scheduling, audit reporting and certificate issuance follow-

up; auditor’s pool management and audit travel coordination within ABS Quality Evaluation in Monterrey, Mexico.

  • Participate as a management team member in the development and implementation of company policy to achieve company and corporate objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasting, assistance with budget preparation, cost control and performance to budget.
  • Establish policies and practices that ensure a high level of customer service and attainment of customer satisfaction with ABS QE services.
  • Develop and maintain an effective department through the development of personnel including coordination of customer service training.
  • Assist Certification Manager with coordination of technical training.
  • Maintain positive relationship with clients and review major complaints from clients for the purpose of resolving issues and taking corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with other ABS QE personnel to ensure timely and effective administration of services, and subsequent report filing.
  • Report KPI’s, budget and strategic initiatives related to operations.
  • Identify and plan auditor needs and recruit them in joint coordination with the Country Manager and Certification Manager.
  • Auditors’ pool performance management, including corrective action and improvement plans implementation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Country Manager.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from and accredited university, preferably in a business / technical discipline, or equivalent business / quality related experience.
  • Proven leadership ability to plan, coordinate a team.
  • Demonstrate ability in decision making and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, exercises sound judgment, and has a sense of diplomacy.
  • Familiarity with commercial, governmental, and international quality standards.
  • Willingness to foster and incorporate change.
  • Must be computer literate.
