Our Health & Benefits practice helps our clients, both local and headquarters management, in the design, establishment, financing, operation, oversight and monitoring of their employee benefit programs around the world.

In doing so, we work closely with our local offices in other geographies, as well as subject matter experts in other segments.

  • The Role

    As Health & Benefits (H&B) Regional Subdirector you will consult on a wide variety of complex projects involving the design, pricing estimate, implementation, administration and management of a fully array of Health and Benefits programs for small, medium and large sized corporations including Life, Major & Minor medical expenses, dental vision, flexible and voluntary employee benefits programs.

    You will serve as the manager and day to day communication liaison with clients and prospects. Supervise and guarantee clients deliverables and strongly contribute to client management and new business activities, and participate in the activities related to creation of intellectual capital working together with the Line of Business and Geography leaders.

    Main activities are :

  • As senior consultant, to deliver standardized service experience to all clients in the region aligned to CVP defined and utilizing the GBC for back office activities
  • Draft Statements of Work project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams and colleagues from different LoB s as needed
  • Oversee and supervise the day to day project leaders, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budgets, timelines, deliverables and quality standards.
  • Serve as senior contact in the region for clients and prospects on delivery services and issues.
  • Manage client’s expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Consultants and Client Relationship Managers
  • Interface with colleagues from other LoB’s and Client Management on assignments that reflect the clients broader business issues
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient quality execution of projects
  • Provide value-added consulting expertise on large projects including plan design, cost control measures and strategies, wellness, benchmarking studies and negotiations vendor analysis and management
  • Meet revenue for the region and billable hours established with your manager
  • Support the generation of new business by enhancing relationships with current clients and recommending new projects ad solutions
  • Participate in prospecting opportunities with the new clients as part of broader team
  • Directly contribute to client’s success through applying your technical expertise
  • Building relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients / colleagues at all levels
  • Serve as mentor of H&B team members in the region
  • Have effective communication with client’s team members locally and at HQ level
  • Demonstrate to have ability to recognize and diagnose issues and propose solutions
  • The Requirements

    Analysis and synthesis capacity. Creative skills

    Technical knowledge of insured Life and Health benefits and at least 7 years of experience gained in a consulting, brokerage or carrier environment

    Complete management of all technological tools (excel, power point, etc ...)

    Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget

    Demonstrated success in managing client issues and relationships; some experience in growing relationships with current clients.

    Strong interpersonal and team skills

    Very well developed oral and written communication skills

    Self-starter attitude and ability to work with ambiguity

    Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues

    Experience in training and mentoring junior staff

    Ability to travel on an as needed basis

    Bachelor’s degree required

    Fluent in English ( Spoken and Written)

    Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
