Scope of Position
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Transcon Department and remaining focused on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture in adherence to the company’s policy and procedures.
Ensure to work only with 100% approved SP
All Communication with SP contacts must be Professional
Comply with company controls, policies, procedures, processes including the credit policy.
Participate in daily huddle meetings and Supervisor meetings when is needed.
Hazardous Materials Certification (HAZMAT Preferred)
Ensure Global Dangerous Goods Policy is followed.

Basic Local Knowledge for Compliance
Provide feedback of Employee Satisfaction initiatives.
Contribute to the effective weekly department meetings with team.
Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers and vendors.
Effectively execute within the Transcon department, assisting our relentless pursuit of efficiency and operational excellence :
Performance Management : Support oversight, including self-assessments and daily, weekly and monthly performance monitoring so that issues (root cause) are resolved proactively.
Exception Management : Help key all exceptions to provide visibility internally (controlled) and through interacting with our customers (uncontrolled).
Help identify areas to improve the process in a more efficient way to offer customers better cycle times, service while improving margins.
Actively participate in the optimization of systems and tools and continuously improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of the service.
Make certain that client specific instructions are followed to properly process shipments and invoices.
Properly use all Expeditor systems and tools, especially CFIT, ETMS, CRM, ECCO, EDOC.
Log files correctly and timely with proper codes, trace types and events.
Ensure that all correspondence within business unit is handled timely and professionally.
Maintain highest compliance levels for all applicable Transcon requirements.
Escalate issues to Transcon Management team timely when needed.
Account Management at every Level.
Meet KPI Standards in accordance with the Company’s Procedures (XMT, RDL, DLV, POD & INV)
Meet compliance at all times (internal and external) in accordance with government regulations.
Ensure compliance Proof of Delivery signed. Verified that there is a POD scanned into edoc.
Ensure that all receipts for freight (Truck bills) signed and scanned into edoc under appropriate reference number. Verify there is / are receipts for freight and scanned into edoc.
Understand the OS&D Procedure and Complete PNC.
All Communication with Customers contacts must be Friendly & Professional
Training & Personnel Development
Comply with the 52 hour training per year (4.33 per month)
Complete all mandatory training timely

To be the most effective in this position we are looking for the following skills and experience :
6 month to 1 year of experience in the logistic field or domestic transportation preferred.
Customer Satisfaction oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication.
Time management skills and attention to detail.
Problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to complete the work within standard procedures, guidelines and office policies.
Self-driven personality and good business sense are expected.
Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
English and Spanish fluency.
