The Mexico Enterprise Banking Services provides all TTS product implementations services for local, regional and global Platinum, Gold & Silver ICG, CCB & GSG Customers.

Mexico operates into LATAM region, offering Local regional and global treasury services including Channels, Collections, Trade, Payments, & Liquidity products.

Given the scope of the covered businesses, the Sr PMO Host to Host Implementation Manager / Client advisor AVP Mexico must be able to coordinate effectively Local / Regional & Global Host to Host implementations projects with colleagues who may not be in the same location.

Key Responsibilities

The Mexico Sr PMO Host to Host Implementations Manager / Client advisor position act as client advisor during the implementation process on how the bank can cover its needs in the best possible way looking to integrate the current client operation & new products to ensure the best solution functionality and operative model to client.

The position has the primary responsibility to ensure the best client implementation experience. Single point of contact during the implementation end to end process as integration project manager, coordinating internal areas (middle & back office) as well as external (client IT & Treasure), client training, communicating progress, conduct communication to stakeholders thru the different levels (seniors, sponsors, operators, approvers) detecting / raising and managing risks, fully implementation process ownership, escalating Internal & external issues, manage client expectations and fully client focus, assuring the highest client experience and holistic solution operation as business as usual.

1.Link onboarding process with rsu (Relationship Support Unit) / asu (Account Service Unit) in order to establish the basement of the implementation process.

2.Participate in the final solution definition (scope definition)

3.integrate current client operation & new products to define the new operative model.

4.Project Management, serve as the main point of contact during the implementation project.

5.Manage & ownership of the process thru end-to-end implementation of the contracting EBS products / services / channels process for corporate, for local, regional & global gsg and ccb clients.

6.coordinate the implementation / activation of the products with the support areas (back & middle office)

7.Implement host 2 host solutions, looking to automate the client operative model.

8.Establish and conduct weekly follow-up calls with internal and external participants, drawing up the corresponding actions.

9.Communicate the progress, ensuring effective message directing the message to stake holders as needed (seniors, sponsors, users, treasure).

10.identify and document clients best practices in order to share with team as knowledge data base

11.Conduct the necessary tests in order to ensure the correct solution functionality on the available environments of each product / service / channels.

12.Client training on layout development & channels operation.

13.Define and map a COB process to ensure client operation in case of contingency.

14.Ensure proper project hand off to citiservice team informing to customer & rsu.

15.Assure client participation on VOC initiative.

16.Client focus, resolve concerns related to activities, technical details, implementation times and status, involving the necessary areas to reach a solution

17.Ensure compliance with internal controls and legal guidelines to mitigate risks during the implementation process including MCA.

18.Communicate local regulations to regional & global clients in order to guide them on how to don’t broke any local rule.

  • 20.Escalate and ensure the involvement of partners or senior management areas, when applicable :

  • 21.Manage client special requirements such as contracts amendments, alignment to Citi global document

    22.Document and track in CRM to each of the Implementations until finalizing themation, etc.

    23.Risk mitigation plan development / deployment in case of detecting risks in the project

    Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or engineering preferred with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the banking industry.
  • Experience dealing with global platinum clients and country senior management required.
  • Strong customer focus
  • Experience managing projects and leading teams direct and matrix reports
  • Superior analytical skills (assessment / decision making / problem solving)
  • Superior Strategic planning skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of PC based applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong English and Spanish communication required - Advanced Level
