    Job Summary

    Responsible for support Commercial Channel and Service Sales Engineers at the COAP, generate estimates and proposal set-

    up. Responsible for BAS / TK proposals follow up with customers. Once a project is awarded leads the transition to fulfillment and checks order entry to ensure customer satisfaction in manner and time.

    Also in demand will be actively seeking opportunities face to face with end customers to produce BAS / TK orders.

    This position is required to closely interact with the Sales Engineers, Project Administrator / Project engineer, customers and vendors.

    Responsibilities :

  • COORDINATE WITH THE SALES ENGINEERS IN ASSIGNED TERRITORIES TO ACHIEVE SALES QUOTA GOALS ON TIME, DEVELOPING BAS & SECURITY SPECIFICATIONS AND PROPOSALS IN SUFFICIENT VOLUME, CUSTOMER VISITS AND CLOSING NEGOTIATIONS WITH CUSTOMERS.
  • SUPPORT THE SALES ENGINEER IN THE SALE PROMOTION PHASE TO DESIGNERS, INSTALLERS AND OWNERS IN A TECHNICAL DEEPER WAY
  • SEND A MONTHLY REPORT (FORECAST) OF THE STATUS OF THE PRE-PROJECTS, ORDERS AND SALES.
  • TO DEVELOP BUSINESS PLAN FOR GLOBAL ACCOUNTS TO ACHIEVE THE FULL POTENTIAL.
  • MAINTAIN HIGH ACCURACY ON SCOPE, BOM, LABOR, THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS
  • ONCE THE SELL IS DONE :
  • TO LEAD THE TRANSITION PROCESS (TIP) SO ORDER ENTRY CAN BE DONE BY FULFILLMENT TEAM WITH THE PDS SHEET INFORMATION ATTACHED TO THE FILE AND TAKING CARE OF DELIVERY TIME OF THE GOODS AND SERVICES.
  • VALIDATION WITH LEAD PROJECT ENGINEER SO SUBMITTAL PACKAGE CAN BE PERFORMED ACCORDING TO PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS.
  • TO TRACK THE ORDER SHIPMENT, DELIVERY AND INVOICING WITH THE SALES ASSISTANTS AND THE ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT.
  • COMMUNICATE TO THE MANAGER ANY SITUATION OR CONFLICT THAT MAY CAUSE SALES PROCESS OR ON GOING PROJECT DELAY OR MALFUNCTION
  • CONDUCT SEMINARS WITH TOPICS RELATED TO BAS, SECURITY AND ICS FOR PROMOTION AND / OR TRAINING
  • KEEP UP DATED IN THE COMPETITION MOVES IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO OUTSMART THE COMPETITION.
  • TAKE TRAINING AND SELF-STUDY AS A CONTINIOUS DISCIPLINE
  • Qualifications & Key Competencies :

    EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and one (1) to three (3) years experience; or Associate's degree or equivalent from two-

  • year college or technical school in electrical engineering and a certificate in HVAC, SECURITY and BAS in electrical engineering and three (3) to five (5) years related experience as Field Engineering in controls;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience as Trane s Tech Trek level 3.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and engineering drawing tools. Some computer programming experience is required.

    Familiarity with the concepts of new construction, renovation / retrofit; performance contracting, and service project management.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, contract documents, control drawings, service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations.

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, customers, and service personnel.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and algebra.

    Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Valid Driver’s License, Mexican Passport and USA Visa.
