The Insights Director will lead the Snacks Category & Country (or cluster of countries) transformation into a proactive / predictive insights driven organization through the creation, integration, and activation of deep people Insights required to deliver the transformation of the function.
Works closely with ExComm to drive an embed insights culture adoption (Global connection where relevant) and define a dedicated Insights agenda, demonstrating business insight and technical expertise to ensure a predictive / foresight function development.
The role has several distinct responsibilities and priorities :
Actively participate to build LATAM Insights vision and set the agenda to deliver world-class Insights capabilities and embed them in the Country & Snacks Category.
Collaborate to have a common Regional vision and framework and coordinate the strategic planning process from an insights perspective, and embed important / inspiring insights into the process
Provide mentorship and support to category teams & harmonize multi-category outputs into OU plan
Implement yearly situational analysis to inform PSP with key strategic opportunities for the business anchored into a regional framework, and define winning strategies to exploit these.
Partner with Analytics to ensure a category / share forecasting, and embed into business planning process.
In alignment with Global and Regional scope, drive foundational people segmentation to identify incremental opportunities and drive growth.
Lead Brand Drivers understanding and use them to inform future Positioning and Communication plans for defined brands (Regional for Snacks and Local for the other Categories).
Implement harmonized and risk-adjusted Innovation validation plans, and meta-analyses, to ensure fewer, bigger and better innovations are launched to market for defined innovation initiatives.
And integrate innovation forecasting model to the assessment.
Partner with to Shopper Insights to translate Demand Spaces into Shopper implications for OT and DTS and use to guide GTM plans.
Build & handle positive relationships with premier Insights Agencies, in a Regional or Local scope, to drive superior partnerships, enable productivity, and continuously stretch the Insights agenda for PepsiCo.
Partner closely with Sector and Global Insights leaders to improve leverage and alignments as relevant.
Lead External Inspiration Program and Authorities Influencers for Excomm and Marketing community
Partner with Sector Capabilities Trends and Foresight understanding and embed those insights into OU

Confirmed ability to drive transformation and set a stretching Insights agenda, across the 3 Insights disciplines (Consumer, Shopper, and Analytics)
Shown ability to up-skill the organization, and build capabilities that get results
Validated influencing and perseverance skills to tailor recommendation to the needs of partners and effectively engage them to obtain dedication and drive impact.
Challenges organization & suppliers to innovate with better tools & processes to ensure constant progress of PepsiCo Insights.
Insights technical deep understanding expertise : Significant experience and ability to bring to bear Insights methods to drive business plans, across the full breadth of insight disciplines :
Identifies systemic knowledge / data gaps across organization & solves for them and operates effectively in matrix relationships across organisational boundaries
Strategic leadership to connect dots across portfolio / over time, as well as across Insights disciplines, to identify systemic shifts in trajectory and deliver strategic solutions & recommendations.
Ability to turn the complex into the simple, to cut through and focus on what really matters and tell simple story.
